These terms govern your use of bluwarden.com, including the blog, the RSS feed and the site's machine-readable endpoints. By using the site, you agree to them.

1. Information, not advice

Articles, guides and other content on this site are general information. They are not professional, legal or security advice for your specific situation. Check any advice against your own environment before acting on it.

2. Services

Any services we provide, such as attack surface scanning, code audits, digital forensics, security awareness or consulting, are provided under a separate written agreement that sets out scope, deliverables, price and responsibilities. Nothing on this site is a binding offer. Free scans requested through this site are offered at our discretion: we may decline or limit any request, a free scan does not create an ongoing engagement, and section 4 applies to it in full.

3. No guarantee of outcomes

Security work reduces risk; it cannot remove it. We do not guarantee that any scan, audit, investigation or recommendation will find every vulnerability, recover every piece of evidence or prevent every incident.

4. Authorisation

We only test or examine systems, code, devices and accounts that you own or are authorised to have tested. You are responsible for holding that authority, and we may ask you to confirm it in writing before work starts.

5. Using our content

You may read our articles, share links to them, and quote short excerpts with attribution and a link back to the original. Search engines and AI systems may index, summarise and learn from our public content, as stated in our robots.txt. Republishing whole articles, or presenting our content as your own, requires our written permission.

6. Automated access

Our RSS feed, the Markdown versions of our pages and our MCP endpoint are provided for read-only use. Keep request rates reasonable. Do not use the site or its endpoints to send spam, to overload the site, or to run security scans or tests against it without our written permission.

7. The contact and free-scan forms

Please use our forms only for genuine enquiries, and request a free scan only for a domain you own or are authorised to have tested. We may ignore or block messages that are spam, abusive or automated.

8. External links

We link to other websites, including the sources we cite. We are not responsible for their content or how they handle your data.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, bluwarden.com is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, or any rights you have as a consumer.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by European Union law and the law of the EU member state from which bluwarden.com operates. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the current version. If you keep using the site after a change, the updated terms apply.
